The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held the maiden Strategy for Business Analytics (S4BA) Challenge Cup on 19th December 2024 at the UGBS Graduate Campus. Kobby Mensah, a professor of Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School has developed an innovative software known as Admissions Checker, to simplify the university admissions process for Senior High School (SHS) students. The software uses students’ West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) grades and high school courses to determine their eligibility for admission to various universities and programmes.

Five UGBS Faculty Earn Professorial Promotions
The University of Ghana Council has approved the promotion of five distinguished faculty members from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in recognition of their exceptional contributions to research and teaching. The promotions, announced on 19th December 2024, include two full professors and three associate professors.
