Kobby Mensah Proposes Brand Journalism to Sandvik Mining and Construction Ghana Limited as a New Paradigm to Marketing Communications
University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Associate Professor of Marketing, Kobby Mensah, recently led a training session on brand journalism, a new framework for marketing communication (Marcomms). The training was organised for the management of Sandvik Mining and Construction Ghana Limited (Sales Area West Africa) as part of their strategic development. It was aimed at reshaping Sandvik’s new marcomms strategy.
UGBS Quiz Team Wins Tertiary Business Sense Challenge 2024
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) quiz team has won the final of this year’s Graphic Tertiary Business Sense Challenge, which took place at GNAT Hall, Accra on Tuesday, 21st October 2024. The team consisting of Mr. Peter Ameka Ike, Mr. Prince Ascord Bordoh, Mr. Edwin Entsiey, and Mr. Jonathan Sowah demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skills in the finale. This makes UGBS the first school in the Greater Accra Region to win the Business Sense Challenge.

UGBS International Relations Office Hosts GNAM Week
The International Relations Office of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) recently hosted another edition of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) week to foster global connection and knowledge sharing among business professionals and students. The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) and the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (ICHRMP-GHANA) have launched a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 17th October 2024. The MoU was signed with the Department of Organisation & Human Resource Management (OHRM) to promote professional development for Human Resource Management students at UGBS. The launch event, themed "Promoting Human Resource Management through Excellent Strategic Collaboration," took place at the ISSER Conference Centre and was moderated by Prof.
KPMG Ghana Visits UGBS to Explore Collaboration on International Accounting Day
On Thursday, 17th October 2024, KPMG Ghana paid a courtesy visit to the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) to discuss potential collaborations. The meeting was held at the UGBS Dean’s Office and centred around involving UGBS students in the upcoming International Accounting Day celebration.
