    Global Entrepreneurship Week, Ghana Marks 10th Annual Event

    On Monday, November 13th, the Global Entrepreneurship Network- Ghana (GEN) with support from the British Council and the Ministry of Business Development marked the 10th Global Entrepreneurship Week with a town hall event on the art of entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School.
    This is an annual event which is dedicated to inspire millions of people from more than 165 countries through local, national and global activities. The theme for this year’s event is “It’s Possible, Just Do It”.

    The 7th edition of UGBS’s Corporate Hangout was held on Friday, 10th November, 2017. The biannual event is a concept developed by the students of the Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) programme to serve as a platform for students to build social and commercial networks coupled with entertainment. It also serves as a platform to afford student entrepreneurs and industries the opportunity to exhibit their products and services and to create brand awareness.

    OMIS Department Holds Round Table Discussion on Future of Cloud Computing in Ghana

    The Department of Operations and Management Information Systems (OMIS) of the University of Ghana Business School, headed by Prof. Richard Boateng has organised a round table discussion on ‘Cloud Computing in the public sector’ at the Fiesta Royale Hotel on the 8th and 9th of November 2017. The two-day event, which addressed cloud computing from the perspective of the service provider and consumer was dubbed, ‘Infrastructure and policy environment for the uptake of cloud computing’.
