UGBS Class of 1973 Reunites with Former Lecturer on Campus

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) welcomed back its Accounting Class of 1973 on 12th March 2025. The alumni gathered on campus to reconnect with their former lecturer, Prof. George Atiase, who recently returned to Ghana.  
The reunion was marked by a warm reception by the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Justice Bawole. He provided an update on the school’s progress and highlighted its growing reputation, impact, and expansion, including additional campuses, new course combinations, and the seven academic departments.

Alumni of the Month – January: Surveyor Nutifafa Kojo Asare

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) proudly recognises Surveyor Nutifafa Kojo Asare as the Alumni of the Month for January. Surveyor Asare is a distinguished professional in the fields of land economy, valuation, and development finance, with contributions in academia, industry, and community service. He obtained a Master of Science in Development Finance from UGBS.

UG InAD Hosts 2025 Deans and Directors in Leadership and Advancement Conference

The University of Ghana Institutional Advancement Directorate (InAD) has organised the third edition of the Deans and Directors in Leadership and Advancement Conference on 27th February 2025 at the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER). This year’s conference was held under the theme: “Navigating International Relations and Aid Dynamics: Accreditation, Fundraising, and Stressors in Higher Education.” 

UGBS Dean Prof. Justice Bawole Leads the Development of Youth Sensitivity Analysis Policy to Track Government Promises

The Dean of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Prof. Justice N. Bawole, has led the development of a Youth Sensitivity Analysis (YSA) policy aimed at ensuring that the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) delivers on its youth-focused promises. Launched by the Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF), the policy is designed to serve as a critical reference point when the 2025 national budget is presented. 

UGBS Alumnus Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor Appointed Acting Director-General of NITA

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) extends congratulations to Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, a distinguished alumnus, on his recent appointment as the Acting Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) by President John Mahama. Dr. Kevor has a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Ghana Business School.
