The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) launched a new strategic plan at a colourful ceremony held on Friday, 9th December 2022, at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium to serve as a guide for the School for the next three years.
The Dean of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Professor Justice Nyigmah Bawole participated in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) Deans and Directors Virtual Meeting via ZOOM on the 28th of November 2022. The meeting had in attendance Deans and other representatives from each member Business School and was led by Professor David Bach from International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Their discussions centred on current issues of global importance and perceptions of the current geopolitical situation in the world today.
On Wednesday, 7th December 2022, the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Innovation and incubation Hub paid host to guests from Reach for Change, a Non-Governmental Organisation.
The guests were welcomed by Professor Justice N. Bawole, Dean of the Business School together with Dr. George Acheampong and Mr. Oliver Kwabena Aggrey, Innovation and Incubation Hub Coordinator and Administrator respectively.
On 30th November 2022, Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor and Professor Charles K.D Adjasi launched a book at the Best Western Premier Hotel, Accra. The book titled “The Economics of Banking and Finance in Africa: Development in Africa’s Financial Systems,” was published by Palgrave Macmillan (Springer Nature) and co-edited by the two eminent Professors of Finance.
On Friday, 25th November 2022, a delegation of the Tax and Regulatory Unit of Deloitte Ghana led by Mr. Augustine Donkor paid a courtesy call to the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The visit was aimed at discussing collaboration opportunities between Deloitte Ghana and the Business School and as means to bridging the gap between students and practitioners.
