Dr. Roger Ayimbilah Atinga, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), was installed as the 20th Hall Master of the Mensah Sarbah Hall. The installation ceremony took place on Friday, 18th of November 2022, at the forecourt of the Mensah Sarbah Hall.
Professor Vera Ogeh Fiador (née Soli) has been appointed as the first female Associate Professor of Finance. This promotion comes after 75 years since the establishment of the University of Ghana (UG) and 60 years since the UG Business School (formerly the School of Administration) was established.
On Wednesday, 26th October 2022, a three-member delegation from the University of the Free State (UFS) in South Africa, visited the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) to explore and discuss various forms of collaboration and partnerships between the two institutions. Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor has been appointed as Afreximbank Research Fellow for one year, 2022/23.
The one-year Research Fellowship awarded by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) provides Professor Abor the opportunity to undertake relevant research and contribute to the Bank’s intellectual leadership in fulfillment of its mandate. He will spend the year visiting and working with the Research & International Co-operation (RICO) Department of the Bank.
