On Friday, 14th October 2022, the Dean of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Prof. Justice N. Bawole, together with Prof. Albert Ahenkan, Head of Department (HoD), Public Administration and Health Services Management, officially received two faculty and three PhD students on the HEED-Africa Exchange Programme, which is being financed by the European Commission.
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), on Wednesday, 12th October 2022, at the Business School premises (main campus), to help bridge the gap between academia and industry. On Thursday, 6th October 2022, Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority delegation donated books on Supply Chain Management titled “Executive Insight Series: Compendium of Supply Chain Management” to the University of Ghana Business School’s Library.
The Department of Operations and Management Information Systems OMIS) at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a workshop on Wednesday, 28th September 2022, at the UGBS Graduate Campus. The workshop which was moderated by Dr. Emmanuel Awuni, Senior Lecturer, UGBS had in attendance Dr. Altti Lagstedt, Principal Lecturer, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (UAS), Finland, Lais Oliveira Leite, PhD Candidate, University of Eastern Finland and a consultant at Eduix LTD, Finland. Dr. Emmanuel Kolog Awuni, a Senior Lecturer in computing and information systems at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) was invited by UNESCO to join other speakers in a roundtable discussion on building Artificial Intelligent (AI) competency in Africa.
