The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised an online information session on its Master’s programmes on Thursday, September 1, 2022. The session was to brief prospective applicants on the various graduate programmes on offer at the school. The session had some members of the School Management’ team and Committee Chairs of the various programmes brief the participants. The session was moderated by Mr. Yaw T. Yeboah, Assistant Registrar, Human Resources, and Dr. Vera Fiador, Senior Lecturer, UGBS.
In a quest to provide students with the requisite skills needed to succeed in the world of work, the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management (OHRM) of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a two-session practical skills training for undergraduate students of the department, on Saturday, 27th August 2022. The training was facilitated by experts from OML Africa (Occupational Management Limited), an international Human Resource Management Consultancy with its head office in Ghana.
On Friday, 26th August 2022, the Mentoring and Students Services Unit (MSSU) of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a session to educate 3rd and 4th-year students about the opportunities available in the mining sector. The event was dubbed “Time with Gold Expo (Opportunities in the Mining Sector).
Management of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a training session to equip staff with the requisite skills needed to effectively deliver services to the school's internal and external customers. The training took place on Wednesday, 24th August 2022, at the UGBS Graduate Building. Prof. Ernest Yaw Tweneboah-Koduah, from the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at UGBS, trained staff on the topic, “Operational Excellence in Service Delivery: Interpersonal Skills in Handling Students and Employees in the Era of Covid-19”.
The Department of Accounting at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a series of PhD seminars and workshops for students from August 15th to August 19th, 2022, at the UGBS Graduate School. The Seminar had three visiting professors namely Professor Hans Christensen, Prof. Thomas Rauter and Prof. Alex Dontoh as facilitators.
