The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) organised a staff durbar on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the R. S Amegashie Auditorium. The durbar which was moderated by Mr. Yaw Tsen Yeboah, Assistant Registrar in charge of Human Resources was to engage staff on activities within the School and also get first-hand information on their challenges.
UGBS alumni continue to shine in all spheres of life. Recently, a distinguished alumnus, Dr. George Agyekum Donkor, was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Fondation at the Crans Montana Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Donkor is also a member of the University of Ghana Council and President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID).
On Monday, December 12th, 2022, a five-member team led by Professor Teeroven Soobarogen from the University of Essex Business School, United Kingdom, visited the University of Ghana Business School. The team was composed of academics from the United Kingdom and the United States of America and their objective for coming was to discuss possible research collaborations with the University of Ghana Business School. Their discussion also dwelled on the next meeting of the African Accounting and Finance Association (AAFA).
The University of Ghana Business Schools (UGBS) Innovation and Incubation Hub organised a two (2) day Entrepreneurship Mentorship workshop from Wednesday,14th December to Thursday 15th December 2022 at the UGBS Graduate Building.
