As part of its plan to strengthen its partnerships, The University of Ghana Business School recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hollard Ghana. The event took place on Monday, 25th April 2022, at the Graduate Building of the Business School, and was witnessed by some faculty and staff of UGBS, as well as some staff from Hollard Ghana.
The University of Ghana Chapter of The International Improving Financial Awareness & Literacy Association (The FA Association) held the Student Edition of The Financial Awareness Literacy Campaign on the 22nd of April, 2022 at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Graduate Building. The theme was “Building the Next Generation of Financial Literates For National Development.”
The Marketing and Entrepreneurship Students Association (MESA) of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in collaboration with the YouthPreneur Centre organised an entrepreneurship summit for students on 22nd April 2022 at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium. The summit was themed “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option”, and it had entrepreneurs from various industries present to share their experiences.
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held a virtual orientation session for their newly admitted One Year Special Master's (Sandwich) Programme students from Tuesday, 19th to 20th April 2022. The orientation was organised in two sessions to welcome students and give them an overview of the Business School and what to expect on their journey of postgraduate studies. The first and second sessions were facilitated by Dr. Kobby Mensah and Dr. Patience Abor respectively.
On Wednesday, 20th April 2022, the International Improving Financial Awareness & Literacy Association, the University of Ghana Chapter (the FA Association), held a public lecture to educate and create awareness about fraudulent investment schemes and how best as individuals and investors, we can protect ourselves. The lecture was held at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium of the University of Ghana Business School and had five (5) guest speakers who spoke on various aspects of the topic, “Warding off Fraudulent Investment Schemes in Ghana.”
