UGBS Faculty Participates in the Second TeProD Project Meeting in Namibia
Faculty from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), together with some UG staff, joined other representatives from partner institutions for the second meeting of the TeProD Project, held from 26th to 30th May 2025 in Namibia. The meeting was hosted by the International University of Management (IUM) at its Windhoek campus and later at the Atlantic Villa Guest House in Swakopmund.

Tetr College of Business Explores Collaboration with UGBS on Student Exchange Programme
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) hosted a team from the Tetr College of Business on 24th June 2025 to discuss potential partnership on student exchange and business immersion programmes. GETFund Supports UG Students Financial Aid Office towards its 20th Anniversary Conference
The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has donated GHS 24,000 to the University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) in support of its upcoming 20th Anniversary Conference scheduled for 8th and 9th July 2025. The donation was presented on 24th June 2025 at the GETFund premises by Mr. Alexis K. UGBS Participates in the 2025 College of Humanities Celebration of the Day of Scientific Renaissance of Africa and Scholarly Exhibition
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) joined other units of the College of Humanities to commemorate the 2025 edition of the Day of Scientific Renaissance of Africa (DRA), held on 20th June 2025, at the Cedi Conference Centre. The event, themed “Ghana’s Climate Innovation Landscape: Unlocking Potential with Science and Sustainability”, featured a scholarly exhibition and a keynote lecture aimed at promoting research-driven climate action through interdisciplinary collaboration.
In line with its commitment to broadening student exposure and development, the Business House Junior Common Room (BHJCR) engaged with the High Commission of Malaysia to discuss possible collaborations that could benefit students of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

Justice Mensah
Dr. Justice Mensah is a Behaviour Analyst and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He holds a PhD in Behaviour Analysis from Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway, and an MPhil in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Ghana.
Ongoing Research/Projects
The Finance Students and Associates (FINSA), in collaboration with the Office of the UGSRC Treasurer, hosted an Investment Seminar on 11th June 2025 at the R.S. Amegashie Auditorium under the theme “The Student Investor.” The seminar was inspired and spearheaded by H.E. Priscillia Dele Ogor, President of FINSA for the 2024/2025 academic year, with the goal of helping students make smart financial decisions early in life through practical insights from high-profile resource persons.
UGBS Hosts Prof. Fikru H. Boghossian as Part of its AACSB Accreditation Journey
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) hosted Prof. Fikru H. Boghossian, Mentor for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation, from 9th to 13th June 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to attain global recognition for excellence in business education. Prof. Boghossian’s week-long visit focused on reviewing and evaluating UGBS’s progress in alignment with the AACSB’s accreditation standards.
UGBS Insurance Students Association Organises Insurance Mentorship Programme
On 11th June 2025, the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Insurance Students Association, in collaboration with Enterprise Insurance, organised an Insurance Mentorship Programme at the Graduate School aimed at nurturing the next generation of insurance professionals through dialogue and mentorship.
