UGBS HURMAS Hosts HR Workshop

The University of Ghana Business School's Human Resource Management Students' Association (HURMAS) organised a workshop as part of their Week Celebration, themed "Positioning Yourself for the Job Market". The event featured industry experts who shared valuable insights and practical advice to empower students for the job market. 

UGBS hosts Tertiary Students for the 3rd National Youth Mentorship Summit

The 3rd National Youth Mentorship Summit was held at the R. S Amegashie Auditorium of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The summit was themed “Fostering Entrepreneurial Mindsets”. There were students from Accra Technical University, the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), Ghana Communication Technology University and the University of Ghana. The summit was supported by Ecobank, Malta Guinness, and Africa Skills Hub. Speakers from sponsoring organisations discussed their entrepreneurial models and their impact on Ghanaians.

University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Celebrates 44 th Management Week

As part of the 44th Management Week celebrations, the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held a series of seminars and interactive sessions during the week. Beginning on Monday, 3rd June 2024, the Alumni Mentorship Day, themed "Understanding the Intersection of Finance and Technology," brought together UGBS alumni and students for a day of learning and networking.

UGBS Department of Accounting Launches New Software Curriculum

The Accounting Department of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has introduced a new curriculum featuring five accounting software programmes. The launch event was held at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium on 21st May 2024. The newly introduced accounting software are Spreadsheet Accounting, Tally, SAP, Sage, and QuickBooks. UGBS has partnered with these software organisations to provide access to students.
