Anita Anima Daniels
Anita Anima Daniels is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, University of Ghana Business School. She holds an MPhil in Health Services Management and a first class Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also has an executive certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from ICM, UK. Prior to her appointment, Anita served the department in the capacities of Graduate and Teaching Assistants.

Joshua Ofori-Amanfo
Dr Joshua Ofori-Amanfo joined the Department of Operations and Management Information Systems, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) as a lecturer in 2018, having taught for a number of years at the Pentecost University. He holds PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the Leeds University Business School, UK; MSc in Procurement Management from the University of Glamorgan, UK and MSc in Supply Chain Management from the University of Central England, UK. The Department of Finance holds a Guest Lecture on Loan Portfolio and Credit Management
On Monday, 21st November 2023, Mr. Michael Maccarthy Adjinu, Treasurer at GB Foods Ghana Ltd, delivered a lecture on the theme, “Loan Portfolio and Credit Management” at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The lecture provided students who are undertaking Bank Management course the opportunity to gain more insights from a practitioner perspective.
UGBS Insurance Students Association takes an educational trip to KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd.
The Insurance Students Association at the University of Ghana Business School embarked on an educational trip to KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd, fostering a vital link between academia and practice. The event started with a warm welcome from Mr. Shaibu Ali, the Managing Director of KEK Insurance Brokers Ltd where he highlighted the longstanding relationship between UGBS and KEK. Mr. Shaibu encouraged students to seize the opportunity for hands-on learning. He indicated to the students KEK's readiness to welcome them for National Service.
University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) holds Staff Durbar and End of Year Party
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) recently hosted a Staff Durbar and End of Year Party. Featuring a welcome address by the School Administrator, Mr. Emmanuel Poku-Sarkodee, he outlined the objectives of the meeting. Mrs. Betty Kallson, the HR Officer at the College of Humanities led the discussions where she presented on welfare and promotions, addressing topics such as promotion applications, staff upgrading, and the scheme of services.
Department of Finance holds Financial Literacy Experience Sharing Seminar
The University of Ghana Business School Strategic Plan Implementation Committee organised a one-day seminar for Financial Market Regulators on Financial Literacy Experience Sharing. The seminar was held on January 18, 2024, at the University of Ghana Business School Graduate Campus. The Seminar drew participants including regulators of the financial market in Ghana and some financial market private sector players.
MSc Business Analytics
The MSc Business Analytics programme will provide graduates with in-depth knowledge and skills in business/data analytics through practical teaching to generate valuable insight and foresight that can assist with business decision making. Students will learn how to identify patterns, visualize, and extract meaningful insights from data to facilitate the business decision-making process. The programme is carefully crafted to ensure that graduates acquire a firm grounding in important areas such as Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, and Text Analytics.
University of Ghana Holds Congregation Ceremonies for 3,675 UGBS Students
The University of Ghana has graduated students who completed their programmes of study during the 2022\2023 academic year from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The one-week Congregation Ceremony was held for both Graduate and Undergraduate students on various days at the Cedi Conference Centre and the Great Hall depending on the programmes offered. There were 1795 undergraduates and 1880 graduands from UGBS for the January 2024 congregation.
University of Ghana Business School wins the prestigious Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA) Professional Award, Africa
The International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) announced the University of Ghana Business School as the winner of the ‘CGMA Leadership Award’ at the first edition of the AICPA, CIMA & CGMA Professional Awards, Africa ceremony in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 24 November 2023.
On Wednesday, 31st January, a delegation from CGMA, AICPA & CIMA presented the awards to the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) for their outstanding contribution to Africa's finance and accounting profession.
