MSc. Financial Risk Management

MSc. Clinical Leadership and Management
The MSc Clinical Leadership and Management programme is housed by the Public Administration and Health Services Management Department. The programme intends to equip all clinicians, nurses, midwives, medical staff, as well as allied health staff with the necessary leadership and management skills to run the various health facilities in the country and beyond. MSc. Accounting & Finance
The MSc Accounting and Finance programme is a specialist programme designed to develop professional accountants and non-professionals in two (2) strategic roles. The programme is a management training programme that equips professional accountants with the skills needed for managerial functions and broadens the theoretical account knowledge of non-business graduates and professionals who have diverted into accountancy.
EMBA - Project Management
This option introduces students to tried and tested project management strategies which are essential to achieving results in project development, implementation and review. Students would also be equipped with change management techniques and introduced to methodologies for initiating, planning, executing and closing projects. Students would also appreciate better the place of stakeholder involvement in successful projects.
EMBA - Marketing
Marketing drives business change and evolution. Students studying EMBA Marketing will develop critical marketing management skills, the ability to enhance the marketing orientation of their organisations and the capacity to perform at the strategic marketing levels within their organisations.
EMBA - Human Resource Management
This option demonstrates that the management of people and their work is critical to the survival of businesses. Without the acquisition of requisite knowledge and techniques in managing organisations, the strategic intent of businesses may not be achieved Students would acquire knowledge on people management as well as skills to make meaningful contributions to policy formulation and implementation
EMBA - Finance
This option exposes students to the fast changing and growing complexity of the business environment and the need for the finance professional to strategically respond to these in a manner that creates value for the firm. It is highly practitioner based with faculty drawing heavily from industry.
EMBA - Entrepreneurial Management
Entrepreneurship is about transforming ideas into economic opportunities. Students who choose this option will acquire critical insights to enable them make rapid positive responses to changes in the business environment. This option also seeks to impart knowledge on new venture creation and enterprise development through the “incubating” process.

George Acheampong
Prof. George Acheampong is an enterprise lecturer and researcher with extensive knowledge of local economy issues in many parts of Ghana and Africa. He currently teaches entrepreneurship at The University of Ghana Business School fulltime. He is the local (Ghana) lead of a project on Port Efficiency that seeks to facilitate international business through the Tema Port. He is currently, the track chair of the Africa’s Competitiveness in Global Markets for the African Academy of International Business.
