    GNAM Participants Visit Medical Centres

    As part of the Global Network Advance Management week celebrations, students of the Executive Masters of Business Administration programme of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), together with students from  Yale School of Management and Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, visited the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC)  and the Korle-Bu Medical and Surgical Skills Institute on the 10th and 12th of June 2019 respectively.

    GNAM Participants Propose a Business Plan for UGMC

    As part of the week-long activities of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) Week, there have been series of discussions, group works and a presentation by students from Yale School of Management, Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley and the University of Ghana Business School.

    The discussions and group presentations were aimed at proposing a business plan for the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC). This academic activity involved coming out with a vision, mission, recruitment strategy as well as identifying the target audience.

    UGBS Hosts EMBA GNAM Week

    Dr. Lord Mensah, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), calls on the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to alleviate consequences accompanied by the dissolution of 347 Microfinance companies in Ghana.

    Speaking to Citi Business news on 6th June 2019, Dr. Mensah expressed that this action of BoG would have adverse effects on the informal sector of Ghana, since they are the main beneficiaries of these Microfinance institutions, if not mitigated.

    UGBS Orients Newly Admitted Sandwich Students

    The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) on Monday 3rd June, 2019 held an orientation session for its newly admitted sandwich students, at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana.

    The orientation was organised to welcome students, give them an overview of the School, and to also make them aware of what to expect as they begin their studies.  Dr. Mrs. Patience Abor, a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Public Administration & Health Services Management served as the MC for the event.
