Francis Yaw Banuro

Dr. Francis Yaw Banuro obtained his first degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Ghana in 1989. He gained the Belgian Government Scholarship to do his MBA in September 1991 at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He successfully completed the MBA in 1993. He also holds an M.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Statistics degrees, from the same University. He finally obtained his PhD in Applied Statistics from the same University in June 2003 and returned to lecture at the University of Ghana in October 2003. He has been a faculty of the University of Ghana Business School since October 2003. In August 2004, he was appointed Head of the newly created Department of Operations and Management Information Systems. He held this post until July 2011. He was awarded the Best Teacher Award for the Humanities in 2012. Dr. Francis Yaw Banuro is a Senior Lecturer in the Department.
