Bedman Narteh

Prof. Narteh is a Professor and Head of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at University of Ghana Business School. He had his PhD at the Centre for International Business Studies, Aalborg University, Denmark in December and a Master of Business Administration (MBA, Marketing Option) at the University of Ghana Business School from 1997 to 2000. Prof Narteh serves in the governance structure of the University of Ghana. He is a member of the Academic Board of the University of Ghana and the Board of Business Studies. In addition, he is the chairperson for both the Marketing & Communication and Welfare Committees of the University of Ghana Business School. As part of his extension works, He is an External Examiner for the Central University College, KNUST Business School, (Marketing and Strategy department) and Ghana Christian University College among others. He is also a regular reviewer for journals such as International journal of Contemporary Hostility Marketing, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Management Research, Managing Service Quality Journal, African Journal of Management Research, Thunderbird International Business Review and International Journal of Bank Marketing. Currently, Prof. Narteh, is facilitating the design of a new course on Procurement and Supply Chain Management to help train procurement specialists to meet the needs of the country and to bring the department in line with global trends in Marketing thought and practice. In addition to the above, Prof. Narteh is an active member of the consultancy industry in Ghana where he has consulted for private and public organizations. Some of his major clients include Ministry of Public Sector Reform, Zenith Bank, UT Bank and Barclays Bank Ghana Limited.
