Edward Entee
Dr. Edward Entee is a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Ghana. He earned his PhD in Information systems from the University of Ghana. He also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana, Ghana, a B.Sc. in Management with Computing (Marketing option) awarded by The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Post-graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (CIM UK). Before joining the University of Ghana, he worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and Ghana Communication and Technology University (GCTU). He is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a demonstrated history of working in the Ghanaian media industry before pursuing an academic career. He is an active member of the Association of Information Systems. Edward’s research interests are at the intersection of technology and Marketing, focusing on issues related to the use of IS/IT for value creation and value capture, consumer adoption and diffusion of emerging digital innovations and technologies (AI, social media), digital business strategy, and digital marketing, particularly in the context of emerging markets.
