University of Ghana Holds Congregation Ceremonies for 3,675 UGBS Students

The University of Ghana has graduated students who completed their programmes of study during the 2022\2023 academic year from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The one-week Congregation Ceremony was held for both Graduate and Undergraduate students on various days at the Cedi Conference Centre and the Great Hall depending on the programmes offered. There were 1795 undergraduates and 1880 graduands from UGBS for the January 2024 congregation.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo congratulated the graduating students wishing them well for the next phase of life. She noted that they have been entrusted with the legacy of the University of Ghana to make it proud wherever they go in life in terms of adding value for development.

Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, who was a Guest Speaker also encouraged the graduating students to strive for excellence and intelligence in all sectors of life.  He added that they should impact the world with the knowledge they have acquired in school to make the world a better place for personal, social, and organisational development.

Students who emerged as valedictorians for the 2024 graduation were: Ms. Berlinda Ayourko Anang, Mr. Paul Sabogu, Mr. Kwadwo Kwarteng Boampong, and Mr. Bernard Aryee Agyei.
