Justice Mensah

Dr. Justice Mensah is a Behaviour Analyst and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He holds a PhD in Behaviour Analysis from Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway, and an MPhil in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Ghana. His academic and professional work focuses on applying behaviour analytic and psychological principles to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness, while also promoting individual wellbeing across clinical, educational, and workplace settings.

Dr. Mensah’s research interests centre on the role of positive developmental states—such as resilience, emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, hope, and optimism—in buffering the impact of workplace hazards and enhancing mental health. His research spans several key areas, including:

· The consequences of workplace bullying and sexual harassment

· The mitigating effects of personal resources on workplace violence

· Stimulus equivalence and learning processes

· Organisational change and development

· Strategic human resource management

Before joining the University of Ghana Business School, Justice worked as a Business Performance Analyst at TG Holdings Ghana Limited, where he led restructuring initiatives to improve both financial and operational performance. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has provided advisory services to the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)-Africa, and numerous organisations in Ghana in the areas of change management, organisational development, business strategy, occupational health and safety (OHS), and performance management.
