In his lecture, he elucidated the concept of strategy as a comprehensive plan designed to achieve long-term objectives by effectively navigating challenges and leveraging opportunities. He emphasised that in risk consulting, strategy is not merely about planning but involves adapting to evolving circumstances and emerging risks.

By sharing real-world examples from his work at KPMG Ghana, he demonstrated how a well-crafted strategy can guide organisations through complex risk landscapes, ensuring resilience and sustainable growth. His practical approach highlighted the importance of strategic thinking in identifying potential risks, crafting mitigation plans, and aligning organisational goals with broader industry trends.

In his closing remarks, Prof. Obi Berko Damoah, Head of the OHRM Department, thanked Mr. Dzakpasu for the excellent presentation and emphasised the importance of calling on practitioners to share their experiences with EMBA students to ensure they have a deeper and more practical understanding of key management concepts and frameworks.
