Lord Kwaku Mensah

Prof. Lord Mensah is a self-motivated, team player and hardworking Associate Professor at the department of Finance of the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He acquired a PhD in Applied Economics-Finance at the University of Antwerp, Belgium from October 2007 to September 2011. He obtained his MSc in Financial Mathematics from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany from October 2002 to August 2004. He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology from October 1997 to July 2001. Aside his mainstream education, Prof. Lord has a certificate in Sustainable Public Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis from Kingston University, Canada.

Prof. Lord has consulted for several local and international organizations including the UNDP to Develop of National Peace Fund Framework in Ghana, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) guidelines for Climate Finance in Ghana, Ghana’s Second Climate Public Expenditure, and Institutional Review. He was a consultant to train the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Financial Market Modelling and EViews Econometrics Software for Data Analysis. He is consulted for the Ministry of Trade and Industry to perform cost benefit analysis on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Project. He was part of a team of consultants to train Ministry of Finance on Macroeconomic Forecasting.

Lord has attended and presented at many international conferences, including World Finance conference (Portugal), Swiss Society for Financial Market Research conference (Switzerland) and Eastern and Mid- West Finance conferences both in the (USA). Aside his publications, he has a lot of working papers to his credit.
