UGBS Quiz Team Claims Third Consecutive Victory at Tertiary Business Sense Challenge Zonal Championship

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) quiz team has emerged as champions of the Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) in the South-East Zone for the third consecutive year. The team, consisting of Mr. Peter Emeka Ike, Mr. Edwin Entsiey, Mr. Prince Ascord, and Mr. Jonathan Sowah, showcased their unmatched knowledge and skills through three intense rounds: the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the grand finale. 

In the quarterfinals, UGBS secured a decisive victory over Heritage Christian University College with 65 points. They then outshone Pentecost University in the semi-finals before moving on to the grand finale. The final contest was a thrilling encounter with Central University and Heritage Christian University College, where UGBS clinched the championship with 67.67 points, solidifying their third consecutive zonal title. 

The team's dedicated trainers: Mr. Dan Owusu Amponsah, Mr. Michael Mensah- Mr. Emmanuel Agyei, and Mr. Caleb Okyere played a crucial role in shaping the team's success. The team also extends their appreciation to the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Justice Bawole, and patrons Prof. Elikplimi Komla Abloyor, Coordinator, International Relations and Dr. Emmanuel Joel Aikins Abakah, Senior Lecturer, Department of Finance, for their unwavering support and encouragement. 

With this zonal victory, the team has secured their place in the National Championship, where they aim to continue their winning streak and bring home the ultimate prize. UGBS is proud of its champions and eagerly anticipates their performance at the national level, where they are set to make history once again.
