The Department of Accounting of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), in collaboration with the Accounting Students Association (ASA), held a mentorship session for its students. The programme, which took place on the 9th of March 2020 at the R.S Amegashie Auditorium, was the first of activities planned as part of the ASA week celebrations.

The Department of Accounting of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held an oral examination for PhD candidates at the University of Ghana Cedi Conference Centre on the 27th of February, 2020. The viva was organised for two candidates; Mr. Richard Fosu Amankwa and Ms. Regina Mensah Onumah. Professor Bedman Narteh, an Associate  Professor at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, was the chairman for the viva.

Simpson led Officials of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), one of its external stakeholders to the Dean of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Professor Justice N. Bawole. The Officials from CIMA were in the persons of Mr. Tim Samba, the Regional Vice President for Africa, Mr. Paul Aninakwah, the Country Manager, and Mr. Osman Musah, the Business Development Manager.
