Meet Regina Asamoah, a final-year accounting student who has established herself as a vibrant character in the Business school. Regina is a part of the BHJCR and the proud owner of the General Secretary role, so she's not your ordinary accounting guru. Along with her academic accomplishments, Regina's charismatic extroverted personality makes her stand out.
But Regina’s influence doesn’t stop there. Picture this: the only female executive in the Business House Junior Common Room team and the 1st Deputy Audit head of Akuafo Hall. Yes, she is breaking glass ceilings and challenging stereotypes!
Her journey towards greatness only continued at university. In Accra Girls High School, Regina left an indelible mark, claiming the title of the Best Business Student
Now, Regina isn’t just a powerhouse in academia; she’s a model, literally. You might catch her strutting her stuff for the “Affordable” glasses brand.
What makes Regina truly exceptional is her ability to juggle a multitude of roles without breaking a sweat. As the campus ambassador of International MUN from August 2021 to March 2022 and holding several other positions, she’s the definition of ambition personified. When asked how she does it all, she whispered that the secret lay in her time management skills. Regina plans her day, ensuring she doesn’t miss out on any academic activity.
One of Regina’s standout achievements is the Women’s Empowerment and Breast Cancer Awareness Summit organized under her leadership in October 2023. It was not just a summit; it was a celebration of strength, resilience, and womanhood
Outside the lecture halls, Regina knows how to have a good time. Her leisure activities include hanging out with her study group, attending parties, and celebrating birthdays. She believes in a well-rounded university experience, where learning doesn’t only happen within the confines of a classroom.
Regina Asamoah is not just a name in UGBS; she’s an experience. A friend, a leader, an organizer – Regina wears these hats with grace. If you happen to meet her on campus, don’t hesitate to say hi. Who knows, she might have a thing or two under her sleeve that she could teach you.
