UGBS Honours Ms. Genevieve Maafia Odeisi Ayeh as Alumna for the Month of February 2025

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) proudly recognises Ms. Genevieve Maafia Odeisi Ayeh as its Alumna of the Month for February 2025, in celebration of her remarkable achievements in the banking, insurance, and marketing sectors. Ms. Ayeh is a dynamic financial and marketing strategist with a strong academic and professional background. 

Ms. Ayeh completed a Master of Arts in Marketing Strategy at UGBS in 2023 and currently serves as an Investment and Insurance Banker at GCB Bank Plc. In this role, she supports clients in developing investment plans, managing insurance portfolios, and selecting suitable financial solutions to meet their needs. Her previous position as a Financial Advisor at Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana led to exceptional outcomes, earning her several national accolades, including Overall Best National Female Financial Advisor, Best National Risk Advisor and National First Runner-Up for the 2022/2023 financial year. She has also held leadership roles such as National Secretary of the Metropolitan Advisors Association and President of the Accra One Zone. 

Over the years, she has worked with several reputable organisations, including South Akim Rural Bank, Electoral Commission of Ghana, Adubea Jensen, Abbew Dadzie and Associates and Metropolitan Life Insurance, gaining valuable experience in sales, customer service, marketing, account management, and administration. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Accra Technical University, and certifications in Information Technology and Customer Experience. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Kaaf University, where she has made history as the first female president of the Law Students Union. Her journey embodies the transformative impact of UGBS alumni.
