UGBS Showcase Faculty Publications in Commemoration of the Day of Scientific Renaissance of Africa (DSRA)
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held a roadshow to showcase books published by its faculty members, commemorating the Day of Scientific Renaissance of Africa (DSRA). The event highlighted the scholarly works of UGBS faculty, showcasing their expertise and contributions to various fields.
Several books were on display, including "Investment and Portfolio Management" by Prof. William Coffie, "Governing Extractive Industries" by Anthony Bebbington, Abdul-Gafaru Abdulai, and others, and "Research Handbook on Democracy and Development" edited by Gordon Crawford and Abdul-Gafaru Abdulai. Other notable publications included "Reimagining Civil Society Collaborations in Development: Starting from the South" edited by Prof. Justice Nyigmah Bawole, Margit van Wessel, and Tiina Kontinen.
Dr. Mohammed Z. M. Mankanna Ischaq represented Prof. William Coffie and presented an overview of "Investment and Portfolio Management". He elaborated on the book's contents, covering investment solutions, accessing investments, and analytical skills for informed decision-making.
The Dean of UGBS, Prof. Justice Bawole, also presented his book, emphasising that many of the publications are available for free download for students and can be found in the school library.
