UGBS Alumnus, Eric Dziedzom Akukumah, Wins Promising CEO of the Year at 2025 Ghana CEO Awards

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) is proud to congratulate its distinguished alumnus, Mr. Eric Dziedzom Akukumah, CEO of EDA Logistics Limited, on winning the Promising CEO of the Year award at the 4th Ghana CEO Awards held on 25th July 2025, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra. Mr. Akukumah studied MSC International Business at the University of Ghana Business School.

The award recognises Mr. Akukumah’s exceptional leadership and the significant role EDA Logistics plays in Ghana’s logistics and supply chain industry. Under his leadership, EDA Logistics has emerged as a trusted industry leader in Africa and beyond, setting new standards in logistics and freight management. EDA Logistics offers a broad range of services, including logistics design, freight forwarding, import and export management, shipping, transportation, and bulk cargo discharge.

Upon receiving the award, Mr. Akukumah expressed appreciation to his team and attributed the success to his team’s efforts and the loyalty of his clients.
