Stephen Mahama Braimah

Stephen Mahama Braimah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, University of Ghana Business School. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Ghana, an MBA (Marketing option) and a BSc. Administration, (Management option) from the same University. Mahama’s critical area of research focuses on Business Strategy, Small and Medium Business Enterprises (SMEs), Service Marketing, Service Quality and Strategic Marketing.
Prior to joining the University of Ghana Business School in 2007, he worked with the Soil Research Institute, one of the Institutes under the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in 1992/93. Dr. Braimah has rich working experience in various capacities in the private sector and has held senior level positions in Management, Marketing and Sales, in various companies such as the pharmaceutical, petroleum, automobile and ICT, among others. His experiences span from Project Management, International Business, Marketing, Retailing, Sales Management, Customer Care to Management and Administration. 
Mahama is an ardent speaker and Human Capital Development Consultant who has designed and implemented various capacity building and management development programmes for both public and private sector organisations, domestically and internationally.
In his role as an Academic, Dr. Braimah has taught students at both undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. He has published several research articles in internationally recognised refereed journals and participated in many international conferences.  Dr. Stephen Mahama Braimah has won several research grants from the University of Ghana Business School to conduct studies in critical research areas.
