Dr. Yvonne Ayerki Lamptey, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School and serves as the Director of the Human Resource and Organisational Development Directorate (HRODD) at the University of Ghana, has been appointed Chair for Challenging Heights’ advisory board.
Dr. Lamptey shall be working with Prof. Nana Ama Browne Klutse (Professor of Physics at the University of Ghana), Dr. Teddy Ossei Kwakye (a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School), and Kenneth Mamudu (a former Manager of the National Programme for the Elimination of Child Labour in Cocoa, and currently a private consultant) as members of the Advisory Board while Cynthia Adjoa Annan, a co-founder of Challenging Heights, has also been appointed the Acting President of the organisation.
Dr. Lamptey began her professional career as the Human Resource Executive for the Unicorn Group of Companies, and later as the Human Resource Specialist for Compassion International, Ghana. Moreover, she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners in Ghana, affiliated with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
Other new appointments include Enock Pufaa Dery, Director of Programmes, Rosemary Afedzie, Senior Manager in charge of recovery and Joyce Abena Annan, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager of the organization.
Challenging Heights is a non-governmental organisation committed to protecting the rights of children and ending child trafficking. They are on a mission of rescue and recovery, prevention and advocacy.
