The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), on Monday, 5th December 2022, organised a training session on Hybrid Class Setup at the School’s Graduate Building for faculty as part of the School’s initiatives to modernise its teaching facilities.
In his brief remarks, the Head of the UGBS ICT Unit, Mr. Eric Kemeh highlighted the concept of the hybrid class setup. He indicated that the setup is a learning environment that includes students in the physical classroom and participants who join the class virtually. The training had in attendance faculty and staff of Business School.
In his presentation, Mr. Gabriel Joel Quainoo from the ICT Unit who served as one of the facilitators outlined the objectives for the training.
Emphasising on the training, Mr. Gabriel J. Quainoo demonstrated how to share and stoplight the screen from the board and the presentation view without missing any activity. He added that switching the camera view allows students online to see what is happening in class. Test links were generated and shared with participants during the demonstration to ensure active participation.
