Miss Princess Korkor Boateng, an eighteen (18) year old level 400 BSc. Administration student at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has emerged as the youngest student to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in the history of Ghana. She enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG), the body recognised for overseeing Professional Accountancy in Ghana, as a student in 2019 when she was at level 100 and completed it in April 2023.
In a brief interview, she expressed how honored she was for the opportunity to go through the CA professional successfully and further indicated that the global applause has given her more encouragement to climb higher. Miss Boateng further revealed that although combining her regular academic work and professional courses was difficult, she has through that learned how to effectively plan her time and multitask. She expressed her hopes that this feat will encourage other young people to follow suit and advised the youth to put in hard work and be dedicated to achieving their goals, stating that "your goals are never too big to achieve."
