UGBS Receives a Team of Accounting Scholars from Essex, UK.

On Monday, December 12th, 2022, a five-member team led by Professor Teeroven Soobarogen from the University of Essex Business School, United Kingdom, visited the University of Ghana Business School. The team was composed of academics from the United Kingdom and the United States of America and their objective for coming was to discuss possible research collaborations with the University of Ghana Business School. Their discussion also dwelled on the next meeting of the African Accounting and Finance Association (AAFA).
Welcoming the team, the Dean of UGBS, Professor Justice Nyigmah Bawole thanked the scholars for having decided to share their research ideas with UGBS. Professor Bawole further indicated that their proposed collaboration will encourage the hybridisation of ideas and re-energise the team to engage in collaborative projects to make an impact. The Dean also requested the five-member group to help with thesis supervision and examination. He appointed Professor Mohammed Amidu from the Department of Accounting, UGBS to lead subsequent discussions.
