The 1993 Alumni Year Group of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) recently held a dinner to mark their 30th anniversary at the Tang Palace Hotel. The event was to reconnect and honour their fellow alumni's accomplishments.
In a brief speech by Professor Justice Bawole, the Dean of UGBS, he expressed his profound gratitude to God for preserving their bond and commended the 1993-Year group for organising such an impressive event. He was particularly impressed with their ability to arrange such a grand dinner event.
Taking his turn, Mr. David Okyere Nyarko, the President of the 1993-year group urged his mates to always display their friendly relationships and encouraged them to proudly showcase their amicable connections. He assured them of their unwavering support for the overall growth of UGBS and extended his thanks to the UGBS management for graciously accepting their invitation. The event proceeded with the presentation of awards to some selected members for their exceptional dedication and commitment to the growth of the entire association.
The event which had in attendance, Mr. Emmanuel Poku-Sarkodee, the UGBS School Administrator as well as friends and families of the alumni members, was interspersed with musical interludes, socialisation & networking, refreshment, and photography sessions.
