On Friday, 25th November 2022, a delegation of the Tax and Regulatory Unit of Deloitte Ghana led by Mr. Augustine Donkor paid a courtesy call to the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). The visit was aimed at discussing collaboration opportunities between Deloitte Ghana and the Business School and as means to bridging the gap between students and practitioners.

Receiving the delegation, Professor William Coffie, the Head of the Accounting Department enumerated the benefits that the proposed partnership will deliver, which includes internship opportunities for students and award schemes for brilliant students at the Business School among others.
Making his contribution, Professor Mohammed Amidu, also from the Accounting Department, emphasised the benefits students would derive from the proposed collaboration. He further hinted at other areas which if improved, would benefit both Deloitte Ghana and the Business School.

The meeting ended with a note of appreciation from Mr Augustine Donkor to the Business School for giving his team the needed attention. He further acknowledged the insights Professor Mohammed Amidu added to their proposal for the collaboration.  The team from Deloitte Ghana also included Mr. Emmanuel Kundo and Mr. John Kusi.
