Dr. Roger Ayimbilah Atinga, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), was installed as the 20th Hall Master of the Mensah Sarbah Hall. The installation ceremony took place on Friday, 18th of November 2022, at the forecourt of the Mensah Sarbah Hall.
Dr. James Kwame Mensah, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) was honoured as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (YGL) on the 20th of April 2022. He was honoured along with seven people in the academic category of the Young Global Leaders (YGL), under the age of 40 after the World Economic Forum unveils the world’s most promising 108 Young Global Leaders. These young leaders are dedicated to green energy activities and health equity to refugee rights and education reforms.
The Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management (PAHSM) of the University of Ghana Business School hosted Dr. Victor Yaw Atiase in a guest lecture on Zoom on Wednesday, 18th November 2021. He spoke on the topic “Linkage between Research Problem, Questions, and Literature Review”. Dr. Victor Y. Atiase is a Senior Lecturer at the Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University, United Kingdom.

The MSc. Clinical Leadership and Governance Class of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) had the honour of hosting Mr. Herbert Mensah, a Ghanaian businessman, Sports Administrator, Philanthropist and the President of the Ghana Rugby Association (GRA) in a virtual workshop dubbed, “Time with a Business Leader.” The two-part seminar series was held during the MSc Clinical Leadership and Governance class on July 21st and 25th, 2020 respectively. The Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management (PAHSM) held its second Covid, Business and Society Seminar (COBUSS) Series on the 2nd of July 2020 via Zoom. Invited speakers were Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, a Senior Lecturer with the Department of PAHSM, and Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare, the Presidential Advisor on Health at the Jubilee House. The Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management, PAHSM, at the University of Ghana Business School, UGBS, hosted the COVID, Business and Society Seminar (COBUSS) Series on 21st May 2020. The seminar sought to discuss issues arising as a result of the global pandemic, with a special focus on supply chain, global response and decision making. Speakers for the seminar were Professor Sandy Zook, Assistant Professor of Public Affairs of the University of Colorado, Denver, Prof Justice Bawole, Dean of UGBS, and Mr.
Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, a University of Ghana Business School Senior Lecturer and Health Economist with the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management has indicated that the coronavirus outbreak in China will adversely affect certain sectors of Ghana's economy. Speaking at the Citi Breakfast Show, he clarified that the country is at a high risk of having a negative net impact because Ghana does not have the capability to produce the products it imports.
Dr. Patience Aseweh Abor, a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), was recently honoured at the Navrongo Town Awards (N-Town) for her contribution to rural development through her work for the Exglo Foundation.
