Mr. Richard Boadi is an outstanding finance professional with over 17 years of experience in banking services, performance management and strategy. He is currently the Deputy Managing Director of IFS Financial Services Limited.
Mr. Boadi had his secondary education at Oppon Memorial Secondary school at Kokofu in the Ashanti region where he obtained his GCE Ordinary Level Certificate in 1993. He proceeded to Opoku Ware School in 1995 for his GCE Advanced Level Certificate in 1995. He graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with a B.Sc. Accounting major in the year 2000 and, in 2009, obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration in Finance from the same institution.
For close to fifteen years, Mr. Boadi has played many senior management roles in the Finance department of Barclays Bank, Ghana and in the Operations and Finance department of Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana. He has held many positions including, Head of Financial Decision Support, Finance Business Partner for Retail and Business Banking, Acting Financial Controller, Operations officer, Financial Reporting Manager and Business Finance Manager.
He has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the finance function; financial control, business planning and forecasting, performance reporting, banking operations, and project management. He is target-driven and combines a sound analytical approach with excellent leadership skills as well as the ability to build high-performing teams to deliver results. It is therefore not surprising, that his record of performance across global financial service organizations is exceptional.
Mr. Richard Boadi is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, (ACCA, UK) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants ICA, Ghana. He is married, with three children.
