Mrs. Francesca Brenda Opoku is a Social Entrepreneur. She is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Solution Oasis Ltd., a Ghanaian agro-processing company that manufactures a range of natural beauty products from ethically sourced African butter, oils, and agricultural waste under the brands, Beauty Secrets and Exotic Man. Mrs. Opoku graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Management option ) from the University of Ghana Business School. She has been a business owner since 2002.
Mrs. Opoku has over 10 years’ experience in export marketing. She’s currently exporting to the US, Australia, The Caribbean, South Africa, Turkey, China and Nigeria. She has facilitated several exports training sessions, including “Thinking Global, Acting Global: Packaging to Reach the International Markets” for members of the Global Shea Alliance, as well as “Engaged by Trade+Impact (T+I),” in 2018 to train and prepare Senegalese Cosmetic
companies to export to Canada.
As a key advocate for "capitalism with a conscience," Mrs. Opoku has a reputation for empowering and impacting the lives of women. She invests in her community by working with several rural women’s co-operatives across Ghana, whom she empowers socially and economically. Her thriving business is a fabric finely woven out of a combination of best business practices, traditional production processes, scientific research, innovation and business incubation for women and youth. She feels it is a responsibility to share these experiences wherever it will serve as a means of uplifting others all over the African continent.
Mrs. Francesca Brenda Opoku is active in the Ghanaian and international community and is known for her involvement in leadership programmes such as AWEP, a fellow of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Programme, and more. She is also a member of the Global Shea Alliance and participates in several youth mentorship programmes. This sets her apart from other female entrepreneurs and makes her fun to work with.
