UGBS @ 60 - THE FUTURE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION IN GHANA: REFLECTING ON THE 60-YEAR EXPERIENCE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA BUSINESS SCHOOL

UGBS Alumna of the Month, February 2022

Mrs. Rose Abena Peprah is an alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), where she studied a Master of Science in International Business. She is currently the Process Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Cocoa Processing Company, the Business Development Manager at Franeroses Group, and also the Chief Executive Officer of Esteem Events and Tour Services. She is responsible for the overall management and the frontline of policy and strategic implementation for the growth of the businesses. Mrs. Rose Abena Peprah is a decisive team player with over twenty (20) years of experience in cocoa processing as well as fifteen (15) years’ experience in managing a group business she co-founded. Her experience in the cocoa processing stretches from quality checks to product research, processes monitoring and evaluation as well as enforcing and maintaining standards.

Mrs. Rose Abena Peprah is a trustworthy leader, who manages, encourages, and develops teams to achieve their goals. She uses her scientific problem-solving skills to execute ethical and exemplary leadership wherever is needed. In every project she sets to do, her mantra is to set standards measurement for management for whatever gets managed gets measured.

She also holds a Laboratory Technicians certificate from Accra Technical University, School of Allied Science,a Diploma in Public Relations from the London School of Public Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing Option) from the Methodist University College of Ghana (MUCG). The alumna is an Associate member of the Ghana Institute of Public Relations Professional, a certified project management Professional and a certified senior emotional intelligence professional of Integrated Institute of Professional Management, Abuja-Nigeria. She is also the Women Representative  of the Professional Managerial Staff Union and the Ladies President of Cocoa Processing Company.
