Alumnus of the Month - January

Mr. Eric Dziedzom Akukumah is an alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He is the Chief Executive Officer of EDA Logistics and co-founder of Kristocentric Broadcasting Network. He doubles as the Country Director for RUBIS Asphalt. Mr. Akukumah's business philosophies are predicated on excellent customer-centric culture, strong teamwork and adaptation. He has previously worked with Grimaldi Ghana Limited and BV Shipping Limited and has undertaken several projects with QGMI, CONTRACTA, Sinohydro, and Inzag, among others.
His international exposure, corporate experience, and knowledge of international business and management have given him the competitive edge to transact business with companies worldwide. Eric Akukumah graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with an MSc. in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Dominion University. He is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK (CIM-UK). He was awarded the Best Marketing & Business Student and was valedictorian of his class at Dominion University. Mr. Akukumah has also received several honorary awards, including the Young CEO of the Year, at the 2022 University of Ghana Alumni maiden Business Excellence Awards.
Our distinguished alumnus’ desire to have a positive social influence has resulted in the founding of the EDA Foundation, a charitable organisation that supports the disadvantaged. The Foundation has helped women's groups and deserving students in the Northern Region of Ghana, among others. What sets Eric apart from others is his benevolent desire to make a difference in society.
