Biography: 

I obtained my BSc. (Administration) Accounting degree with first class in 2003, and an MPhil (Business Administration) Finance option from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2006. I completed my ACCA exams in the December 2006 sitting. I also obtained a PhD in the field of finance from The University of Queensland, Australia in 2013. From 2009-2021 I was lecturer and senior lecturer with the School of Business, University of Cape Coast. During my time at the University of Cape Coast, I served as the Head of Department of the Department of Accounting between 2016-2019. I was a member of the consulting team executing Graduate Enterprise Development Initiative programme sponsored by Eximbank Ghana. I have received research funding from the African Economic Research Consortium and the African Development Bank.  Before joining academia, I worked as a compliance monitoring officer with United Bank for Africa Ghana Limited.
