Dr. Vera Ogeh L. Fiador is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance. Her core teaching area is corporate financial management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Vera’s research interests span a broad array of issues in the area of economic growth and development finance. In this regard, she has published in the Studies in Economics and Finance, with her current specific interests in Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance also resulting in an article that is forthcoming in the Corporate Governance: International Journal of Business in Society. Other areas of interest include earnings management as well as Growth and productivity effects of Government fiscal and monetary Policies. Dr.  Fiador has also held a visiting scholar position at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
