William Coffie is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School. He holds a PhD in Financial Economics from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. Dr. Coffie has published in reputable international journals including International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of Financial Stability, Global Business & Economics Review, etc. and several peer review conference papers.  Prior to working at the University of Ghana, Dr. Coffie was a Senior Lecturer in Finance & Econometrics and Programmes Director for MSc Finance & Accounting and MSc International Banking & Finance at University of Wolverhampton UK. Besides, Dr. Coffie has previously worked as a Lecturer in the area of Accounting, Finance, Econometrics and Marketing at Birmingham City University, Staffordshire University, City College Birmingham, Birmingham Metropolitan College, all in UK and Kumasi Polytechnic Ghana. Dr. Coffie was a visiting Professor of Corporate Finance at Hong Kong City University from 2008 to 2011. In practice, he’s currently a practicing Accountant and has previously worked with local government as well as industry in Ghana and UK. He has consulted extensively for both private and the public sectors. Dr. Coffie is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Marketer.
