    UGBS Seminar Series on Knowledge Management

    As part of the 2015/2016 academic year, UGBS is organizing a series of seminars for various departments in the college. On 16th October 2015, the department of Public Administration and Health Services Management organised a seminar on the theme ‘Principles of knowledge management for modern enterprises’ delivered by Professor Yinshan Tang (Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK). The aim of this seminar was to educate students and participants present, on the role and management of information or knowledge in an organizational structure.

    Inauguration of UGBS Corporate Advisory Group

    UGBS inaugurated its 13 member Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) on the 11th November 2015. The meeting was under the distinguished patronage of the Vice-Chancellor of UG, Professor Ernest Aryeetey. Present at the inauguration was the Dean of UGBS Prof. Joshua Y. Abor, the School Administrator, Mrs Stella Dovlo, some members of the school management committee and members of the Corporate Advisory Group.

    University of Ghana Maiden Doctoral Research Conference

    The maiden doctoral research conference was held from 5th-6th November 2015. The conference was organized under the auspices of the Building Stronger Universities Phase II Project.     Project Management by OHRM

    The OHRM department organized a presentation on different project delivered by four groups of students. This project was composed of different social and administrative concerns in the country. The students used a Gantt chart to aid them in effectively creating and managing project. The Gantt chart is a project management software that aids users to plan, implement and execute project. The chart shows users what has to be done (activities) and these activities are time bound, after this is done the right personnel are designated.
