The year 2020, which started as the end of another decade, has been quite a challenging one by all standards. Midway through the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, the country had its first share of the global pandemic experiences, forcing academic work to come to a brief standstill. Consequently, teaching and learning had to take a different twist from the conventional approach by embracing online engagements. In spite of the difficulties presented by the challenges of Covid-19, the UGBS successfully completed the last academic year for both regular semester and the sandwich semester. Faculty and staff executed the mandate for teaching extremely well.
On the side of faculty, the year 2020 has been the most productive in the life of UGBS in terms of faculty promotions.
