UGBS Welcomes a New Senior Assistant Librarian

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has welcomed  Mr.  David Tetteh Odjeawo as the School’s new Senior Assistant Librarian. Mr. Odjeawo whose appointment was announced on the 17th August, 2020, takes over from Madam Sitsofe A. Dzansi, who retired recently.

Mr. David Tetteh Odjeawo holds a Master’s degree in Library Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Psychology.  He brings along over 24 years’ worth of working experience with Balme Library and 3 years of experience with Population and Social Sciences.

Mr. Odjeawo has already emphasised on some key projects he plans to bring on board. In his capacity, he hopes that the introduction of a library section on the UGBS website would create more traffic on the site. He also added that the cataloguing and classifying of PhD & MPhil thesis will make it easy to access online studies. Moreover, Mr. David Tetteh Odjeawo stated that his focus will be on equipping his staff to be abreast of new ways of imparting knowledge through the new order of librarianship.

The University of Ghana Business School congratulates Mr. David Tetteh Odjeawo on his appointment as the new Senior Assistant Librarian of UGBS and wishes him a successful term of office.
