The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) on April 26, 27 and 29 held ‘Meet the Dean Session’ at the graduate building and R. S Amegashie auditorium respectively. The ‘Meet the Dean Session’ is a direct point of contact for the Dean, Faculty and students to interact, build a good relationship and discuss other school activities.
Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor, the Dean of UGBS addressed issues pertaining to students’ identification cards, service delivery, learning management systems, library, lecture halls etc. Having also assured the students that the school is ready to assist students facing challenges, he advised the students to crave for excellence in the things that matter most while on campus. He encouraged students to work extra hard to empower them to represent the school in the real world.
The students in return applauded the authorities of the school for their effort to ensure a blend of teaching with practice, adding that the school has been a great source of learning and inspiration.
In attendance were first year undergraduate, Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) students and some faculty.
