UGBS Orients Sandwich Programme Students

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) held an orientation for its newly admitted batch of sandwich students at the R.S Amegashie auditorium on the 4th of June 2018. Present were Professor Bawole who stood in the stead of the Dean, the School Administrator, coordinators for the programme, as well as some staff. Dr. Kobby Mensah was the moderator for the programme.

Professor Bawole, in his welcome address, admonished students to use the opportunity to get acquainted with each other as well as the lecturers. He reiterated the fact that UGBS is a premier Business School in the sub-region focused on developing world-class human resources and capabilities. He stated that the school has qualified and experienced faculty who are committed to carrying out research that is relevant for policy making.

Mr. Emmanuel Poku-Sarkodee, the School Administrator, was next to welcome the new batch of sandwich students. In his address, he educated the students by giving image-based word tour of the school, thus giving them general information about the school. He informed them about the schedule for opening of the facilities, procedure for paying their fees, security and parking of vehicles as well as the channels of communication between faculty and students.

Dr. Mohammed Braimah took students through the e-registration process, grading system, deferment process, course credit as well as registration for exams.

The orientation closed with an interactive question and answer session.
