On Friday, 18th August 2023, a team from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Innovation and Incubation Hub (UGBS NEST) led by the Unit’s Coordinator Dr. George Acheampong donated two projectors and three laptops to the Business School.
In his remarks, Dr. Acheampong indicated, “I am aware that many units have expressed concerns about the shortage of gadgets, and so we, at the innovation hub, have decided to offer our assistance.” Adding to his speech, he noted that the UGBS NEST had received several generous donations from various institutions recently and hence expressed the unit’s desire to extend a helping hand to the other units within the Business School.
Professor Justice N. Bawole, the Dean of the Business School expressed his excitement and gratitude and further acknowledged the profound impact that the donation would have on the school. He added that the 2 projectors and 3 laptops would significantly enhance the educational experience within the school. He also extended his heartfelt applause to the team at the UGBS NEST for their commendable and selfless contributions not only to their unit but also to the broader Business School community, recognizing them as valued partners in the pursuit of academic excellence at UGBS.
The brief event also had in attendance Mr. Emmanuel Poku-Sarkodee, the School Administrator, Ms. Celestina Majorie Quist, Assistant Registrar of Academic Affairs, Ms. Saratu Salifu, Assistant Registrar of General Administration, and a team from the UGBS NEST.
