The University of Ghana Business School on October 19th, 2016, appointed Dr. E. Tweneboah-Koduah, Head of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, as Chairman of the UGBS Business Incubation Project Committee. The appointment was made by Mrs. Stella Dovlo, the School Administrator in the stead of the Dean, Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor.
The functions of the committee include identifying universities that run business incubation projects, understudying the structures and characteristics of such projects and determining which structures would best suit the University of Ghana Business School. The committee is also tasked with securing funding, developing a course of action for the project and making recommendations to the Dean.
The committee, led by Dr. Tweneboah-Koduah, consists of Prof. Bedmah Narteh, Dr. Daniel M. Quaye, Dr. Samuel C.K. Buame, Dr. Mahama M. Braimah, Dr. Mohammed A. Mahmoud, Dr. Kwame Adom, Dr. Kobby Mensah as well as Dr. Prince Kodua, all from the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Other committee members include Prof. Richard Boateng from the Department of Operations and Management Information Systems (OMIS), Dr. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, Dr. Ibrahim Bedi, Dr. Lord Mensah and Dr. Amponsah-Tawiah from the Departments of Public Administration and Health Services Management (PAHSM), Accounting, Finance and Organisational and Human Resource Management (OHRM) respectively. Professor Robert Hinson of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship serves as the in-house consultant. Below are pictures of the committee members.
