On Saturday June 22, 2019, the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) hosted a cocktail party at the schools’ Graduate Building in honour of its sandwich programme students. The party was organised to offer the students the opportunity to socialise and network. In addition, the students had the chance to evaluate and assess their various courses.
Dr. Kobby Mensah, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship served as the moderator for the event. In his introductory remarks, Dr. Mensah applauded the School’s Management and the Dean for the excellent work done. He also acknowledged the students for choosing to read programmes in UGBS.
In the course of the event, some of the students shared their experiences on the programme so far. Mr. Oscar Moore, a Master of Arts in Marketing and Strategy student, admitted that the Sandwich program has really helped in shaping his perceptions about the way of life and has strengthened his relationship with people from various spheres of life. Again, Mr. Joseph Paddy, a student pursuing a Master of Arts in Organisational Leadership and Governance was impressed with the fact that the courses were very well delivered.
The party was climaxed with dancing and photo sessions. Dr Mensah thanked everyone for their presence and for making the event a success.
